Assignment #118 - All You Add Is Love (Purina Dog Chow)

Memory Verse: Psalms 127:3 (New Living Translation)

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.

Intro: This week we continue with shaking things up a bit. Children are often so pure in what they say. There is no sugar coating it, they just say it as they see it. Their thoughts can make us laugh, touch our hearts and open our eyes.

Assignment: This week are going to do an “Interview With Mom” and post it to your blog. There are a list of questions below to interview your children with. Feel free to add your own questions or remove any question you don’t want to use. You will then ask your children the questions and post the answers that they give you.

I have 3 boys, but my younger 2 are 1 & 2 years old, so I couldn't interview them. But I did interview my older boy, Tristan who is 4 years old.

WHAT DOES MOM ALWAYS SAY TO YOU?

I love you.

WHAT MAKES MOM HAPPY?

Kisses.

WHAT MAKES MOM SAD?

Miss MaMa JuJu (Mama Juju is my mom, I refer to her as Grandma, but for some reason, he likes to call her MaMa JuJu).

HOW DOES MOM MAKE YOU LAUGH?

When Mommy makes a funny face.

HOW OLD IS MOM?

5 (little off on that one, LOL)

HOW TALL IS MOM?

Big, Big. (must be to him. LOL. I'm only 5'0")

WHAT DOES MOM LIKE TO DO?

Go to sleep.

WHAT IS MOM’S JOB?

Go shopping!

WHAT IS MOM’S FAVORITE FOOD?

Sandwiches. (I think he was confused on this one, because he just got done eating sandwiches for lunch. LOL)

HOW DO YOU KNOW MOM LOVES YOU?

Big Kisses!

BFS #117 — Say It In Signs!

Memory Verse: Genesis 1:14 (King James Version)

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.

Intro: This week the other Teachers and I want to shake things up a bit! We wanted for everyone to have some fun and have an assignment that would be easy and enjoyable too. This is a creative blogging assignment but hopefully it will offer help to some newer bloggers still trying to learn “how” to add pictures to their blogs and also help learn your classmates names to easily identify them…and it’s just FUN!

Assignment: This week you are to use your Blog Name (or your own pen/real name) and create signs. There are two ways to do this and you can do one or both ways.
Here are my banners and signs that I’ve made to share with everyone. I have my two of my favorite verses within the signs! They should be easy to spot! Go to this location and use the Create tab at the top of the page to select All Templates or go to the bottom of the page and on the left choose Banners to make your project. Then follow the directions to copy the code and post it on your blog. Have Fun!!! Warning: This is NOT a christian site!

Hair Cut!

Wow, last Sunday, I did it!
My Sister in law and I went to O'Brien's at the Mall and got our hair cut. I was excited about it. I've been wanting my hair cut for awhile now. Just kind of hard to find someone babysit so I can. Adam works all the time, and his schedule is different every week, so I never know when to make an appointment.
I didn't think I would be getting it though. The morning of our haircuts, I looked out the window and saw that we got about 6 inches of snow over night. The weather man said we would get a dusting to an inch. I think he lied. LOL. Anyway, I called my brother up and told him that I will not be getting my hair cut, because I refuse to drive in snowy conditions. The roads get slippery and I can't handle the anxiety.
But a couple hours went by, the sun started to shine, and my brother called my back and said get ready to go, because Shannon, my sister in-law, will be coming down and driving us to the the mall.
So I said sure, as long as I didn't have to drive. Here are the before and after pictures of me.
