Jayden's 1st Birthday

Today is Jayden's 1st birthday. Officially at 6:58 tonight. He came only a few day's early. Did I even think of my baby being born on Valentine's Day. No way. Friends and family joked with me about it, how "wouldn't it be cool if your baby was born on Valentine's Day?". I would chuckle and say yeah, but never believed it would happen. My first boy was born 3 weeks early, not sure why, he was healthy, and I was healthy through out my pregnancy. He just wanted out I guess. Then Brayden, well he didn't want to come out. 1 week before my due date, my doctor wanted to induce me. It was mainly because I want her to do the delivery, that's why they scheduled it. But he was not ready. They started the procedure at 7am and at 2:30, nothing. So I stopped it and we rescheduled another date 1 week after my due date, the 31st of January. He was born at 12:25 that afternoon.

Jayden, I figured would be the same as Brayden. I'd probably have to be induced again. At 2:30 in the afternoon my water broke. Adam was at Wal-mart, and I was home with the other 2 boys. So I called him up and told him my water just broke. He was not to far from my mother's work so he stopped in and told her that my water broke. They both arrived home at the same time. Adam stayed with the boys, and my mom brought me to the hospital. I had called the hospital before they arrived, and told them what happen. So at 4:00 I finally arrived at the hospital, very little contractions. Went to the labor room, and waited. I was dilated and we were all waiting. At 6:00, my contractions were getting very painful. I wanted and epidural, because I had it with Brayden, and it made my delivery so much easier, but the anesthesiologist, couldn't do it. After about 15 -20 minutes of trying, she gave up. After she left the room, I told the nurses I was feeling pressure, so she checked me, I was only 9cm dialated, but she got my doctor. My doctor arrive and checked me and said lets start pushing. Well at 6:58pm he was born. It's a Valentine's Day I'll never forget!

How To Add A Signature To Your Blogger Blog

Ever wonder how to posts those nice signatures on your blog like this one...

Well I was puzzled for awhile, but finally got one. I would recommend going to www.mylivesignature.com. You must register first, then, "Login". After you login, click on "New Sig". You have 3 choices...

1. Using the signature creation wizard
Select this method if you want to get an imitation of your signature. You will have to enter the name of the signature, select the handwriting that suits you from the offered list, specify the size, color and slope of the signature and it will be ready!

2. Hand draw your own personal signature
Use your mouse or pen to hand make your own personal signature straight on your screen!

3. Using a scanned image
Select this method if you want to get an exact copy of your signature. You will have to write your signature on a sheet of paper, scan it and send it to us. Our designers will process the image in a short period of time and use it to create a signature for you.

I used the first one, quick and easy. You then enter the name you want as your signature. after that you pick a font. Then you pick the size of signature. Of course after you picked the size, you need to pick what color. After the color, you get to pick the slope of the signature. It may have no slope if you choose. Finally you name your signature. I used my own name, easy for me to remember.

Now it's time to put it in your blog. On the My Live Signature website, click on "Use Sig". Click on the "Generate HTML code". Click on "Generate Code For Your Handwritten Signature". If you have more than one signature choose the one you want to used, then click "Generate Code".

Copy the code. Now go to Blogger and in the "Settings" Click on "Formatting". At the bottom of the screen you will see "Post Template", paste the code in that box. Then click "Save Settings". Your signature will be there everytime you start a new post. Just remember to write above the code, so your signature will be at the bottom.

Hope I was able to help.

The Simple Woman's Daybook, February 2nd

For Today...February 2

Outside my window... chilly, with snow on the ground. Cloudy and a slight breeze.

I am thinking... how I'm procrastinating the day away

I am thankful for... having a very nice birthday party for my boy, Brayden.

From the learning rooms... Tristan listen well with his EEE teachers.

From the kitchen... A sink full of dishes that need to be washed.

I am wearing... Comfortable jeans and a Disney's "Goofy" sweatshirt.

I am creating... a new blog, which will help me declutter my home.

I am going... to my mom's later, plus I need to go to the store and pick up somethings for my Valentine swap.

I am hoping... that the ground hog will be wrong. I've had enough winter already!

I am hearing... my little boy whimpering as he is trying to go to sleep.

Around the house... A lot of cleaning and picking up to do.

One of my favorite things... The way my boys laugh

A few plans for the rest of the week... Meeting with Tristan's & Brayden's teachers.

Brayden's 2nd Birthday

Yesterday was Brayden's 2nd Birthday. He seem to have wonderful time. He's really into all kinds of Matchbox cars, and he got a lot of them! He needed help with openning gifts, he still don't comprehend presents yet. Though when we opened his big truck of cars, he had a grin from ear to ear.
It was a small party, but it went really good. Thank goodness for family! Here are some pics of the party.

Here they are playing with the balloons...but wait where is Brayden?

Here is Brayden opening one of his gifts...see the wrapping paper, it Hotwheels, he love cars!

Here is Brayden when he opened one of his Car gifts...like I said, he love's cars!

Brayden's cake...Tristan kind of checked it out before I got a picture of it.

Here is Brayden, trying to blow his candles.
