Aloha Friday - September 4, 2009

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question is:

Do you have an HDTV?

We just got our first HDTV, of course, we're not paying the extra $20/month for the HD channels. Guess that don't make much since huh? Though getting use to a rectangular shape television takes some time. We're still adjusting.

Yes...although I do not see the necessity for it.

Happy Friday!

Nope. I don't watch much of anything so it wouldn't be worth it.

We do not have one, but we get the channels since they are included with regular cable.

Nope... I don't even have cable !

Yep. Three in fact although not one of them uses HD since we have satellite & it costs extra to have HD.

We have an HDTV that my husband won at work. Right now we've decided we don't need cable, and since we live in a basement we don't get regular channels unless we actually stick rabbit ears out the window...so right now I am using an HDTV as a computer monitor. That's right. The reason is that we use Netflix Watch Instantly a lot, and it really made sense. Trust me.

Yes. Amazing how clear the picture is!

We just have a normal cheap tv. I appreciate how nice HDTVs look, but I would rather spend my money elsewhere :)

Yes and it was better when you couldn't see all the flaws. No wonder actors are all freaked out. lol
