Aloha Friday - May 1, 2009

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate click here.

Adam & I have finally set a date for our wedding! I know your wedding day is special and memorable and I can't wait to be able to experience that moment! So my question for today is,

What is the most memorable moment on your wedding day?

The most memorable moment from our wedding (almost 8 years ago) was when all of our family and friends dance the Hora together.

my brother in law loves the red sox and, as a yankee fan, we have the biggest rivalry going. i almost made him walk into the reception to Rivera's entrance music but restrained myself. during his toast, he bust out with a red sox cap. i threw it across the room and asked one of the waiters to take out the trash.

We had a very simple wedding and to me that was SO special. We had a large wedding planned and ditched it last minute and had a small wedding service and I do not regret it after all these years.

The kissing. The minister had us kiss maybe 5 or 6 times.

My most memorable moment was when I walked into where the ceremony was being held, saw my husband to be and noticed that he was crying (he's not a cryer).

Seeing my husband-to-be standing up at the Altar...I was so excited that IT was happening. Hope your wedding planning is coming along...it's so much isn't it? The day will be here before you know it and it is ALL so worth it :)

Besides from the look on my husband's face when he was watching me walk up to him? :) My dad sang and played a song on guitar that he used to sing to me when I was little. It was a very special moment.

The whole day was magical. We got married in my moms backyard. My sister and his brother stood up for us. It was just a really perfect day.
