Aloha Friday - May 15, 2009

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate click here.

Summer is almost here, and it's that time of year where I like to take my boys to places that will give them some great memories. Mainly things that are free or inexpensive, like we'll be going to the local school playground once school is out. So my question for this week is...

What are some free to inexpensive things you do with your children?

Depending on age...library, our library often had tons of activities. Our zoo sells a summer pass and has a great, reasonably priced summer camp. Our high school sells a summer pass to the swimming pool. Tons of kids every day and tons of other moms.

One of the movie theaters in town does free matinees on Tuesday. Plus we like the park, museums up in the big city, hiking, biking & playing in our pool!
